Nino Ellison was born in Sydney, Australia, and is of Hungarian and Dutch descent.
He worked for many years as a travel photographer, documenting some 60 countries, and has won 15 Australian and New Zealand Professional Photography awards, including 3 Gold Awards in the prestigious ACMP, AIPP & NZIPP annual awards for his hand printed, black and white images of a French winter, from his solo exhibition; 'Voyage d'Hiver' (Winter Voyage).
